Holiday Overview
Bhairav Kunda(4250m.) Trek is another popular spiritual trek which lies Northeast of the Kathmandu in Sindhupalchok district closer to the Tibetan border.
It was an ancient trade route between Nepal and Tibet. Bhairav Kunda name from the name of Lord Shiva- Bhairav.It means Bhairab Kunda is holy lake ,its own faith ,important for both Hindu and Buddhist devotees.
The top of Bhairav Kunda offers a spectacular view of Rolwalling range, Jugal Himal range, Dorje Lakpa (6966M), Madiya Phurbi (6257M), Ghhyachu (6637m) and some of the Tibetan mountains.And offers more thick alpine forest, Rhododendron, hearing the beautiful sound of birds.
Near the Bhairav Kunda you can see a temple of Lord Shiva; thousands of the devotees visit this temple every year.This trek begins from Jalbire 4-5 hours drive from kathmandu finally end at Larcha then drive to Kathmandu by bus 5-6 hours.
Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu airport and transfer to Hotel.
Day 02: Half day Sightseeing in Katmandu city with cultural tour guide. Hotel
Day 03:Kathmandu (1350m.) – Jalbire (1000m.) Drive by Bus about 4-5 hours
Day 04:Jalbire – Chanaute (1350m.) 4hours walk
Day 05:Chanaute – Khani Gaon (2000m.) 6hours walk
Day 06:Rest day with Local Village sightseeing
Day 07:Khani Gaun – Forest Camp (3150m.) 6-7 hours walk
Day 08:Forest Camp – Pati (3765m.) 5 hours walk
Day 09:Pati – Bhairab Kunda (4250m.) 3 hours walk
Day 10:Bhairab Kunda – Sherpa Gaun (2500m.) After Sunrise view 6-7 hours walk.
Day 11:Sherpa Gaun – Larcha (1500m.) and visit Hot spring (Kodari highway)
Day 12:Larcha – Kathmandu drive by bus 5-6 hours
