Holiday Overview

      Nar-Phu valley trekking is one another newly opened trekking trails located in Annapurna region. Nar Phu valley Trek is a restricted trekking trail.

     A special trekking permit through government registered Nepal trekking Agency and minimum two people are required to obtain Nar Phu valley trekking permit. The destination was opend in 2003.

     Nar Phu valley is one of the best trekking destinations in order to have super views of mountains located in Annapurna Himalayan range and explore the most sacred and wonderful hidden valley, Nar and Phu, cross through high passes namely Masokanto La (5099m), Kangla pass (5200m), Tilicho Pass (5230m).

     This exotic land offers medieval Tibetan culture in undisturbed form, dramatic mountain views and great alpine scenery. Being a newly opened trekking destination, it is a seldom travelled route with a unique combination of high peaks and passes, glaciers, remote villages, narrow canyons, lovely forests, amazing rock formations, yaks, Gompas and unique Himalayan cultures.

     Nar-Phu is one of the most beautiful medieval villages where. Nar-phu valley trekking begins with one day drive from Kathmandu to Besisahar and continues trekking through Marsyandi valley and finally takes you to final destination, Nar Phu then make an excursion around Nar-phu valley crossing kangla pass (5,200m) you will return back to Manang, a beautiful village in the Annapurna trail and continue to Tilicho Lake situated at the highest point in the world (4912 m height) or continue to Throng la pass, and get back to Jomsom then Another day fly back to Pokhara then next day drive or fly back to kathmandu.

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu airport and transfer to Hotel.

Day 02: Half day Sightseeing in Katmandu city with cultural tour guide. Hotel

Day 03:Drive Kathmandu to Synge/Jagat (1100m) Duration: 8 hrs

Day 04:Trek to Dharapani (1960m) Duration: 6 hrs

Day 05:Trek to Koto (2610m) Duration: 6 hrs

Day 06:Trek to Meta (3560m) Duration: 7 hrs

Day 07:Trek to Phu Gaon (4250m) Duration: 7 hrs

Day 08:Acclimatization day in Phu Gaon

Day 09:Trek to Nar (4110m) Duration: 07 hrs

Day 10:Rest and acclimatization day

Day 11:Trek to Ngwal (3660m) via the Kangla Pass (5322m) Duration: 8 hrs

Day 12:Trek to Manang (3540m) Duration: 4 hrs

Day 13:Manang – Acclimatization day/ Lodge

Day 14:Manang to Yak Kharka (4,110m) 3 – 4 hours/ Lodge

Day 15:Yaik Kharka to Thorong Phedi (4,600m) 3 – 4 hrs/ Lodge

Day 16:Thorong Phedi to Muktinath (3800m) crossing over Thorong La Pass (5416m) 7/8 hrs/ Lodge

Day 17: Trek to Jomsom (2710m.) 5 hrs. Lodge

Day 18: Flight back to Pokhara (780m.) Hotel

Day 19: Flight or drive  back to Kathmandu (Evening farewell dinner in Nepali cultural Restaurant).Hotel

Day 20: Reserve day in Kathmandu.

Day 21: Trip end. Final departure transfer to airport
